ReshareAI is operated by ReshareAI.com (eenmanszaak), registered in the Netherlands with KvK number 90340620. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data you provide when using this service.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect and process the following personal data:

Account data: your email address, name (if provided), and password (stored encrypted via Supabase Auth).
Usage data: the content you submit for repurposing, the platforms you select, and the AI-generated outputs. This is stored to provide your session history.
Payment data: billing information is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage logs collected automatically for security and service operation purposes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds (Article 6 GDPR):

Performance of a contract — to provide the ReshareAI service you have signed up for.
Legitimate interest — to ensure security, prevent fraud, and improve our service.
Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, including tax and accounting obligations.

4. How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account.
To provide the AI content repurposing service.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To display your session history in the dashboard.
To enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier.
To respond to support requests sent to our contact email.

We do not use your submitted content to train AI models. Content is sent to OpenAI's API for processing and is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party processors to operate our service:

Supabase (database and authentication) — data stored in EU data centers.
OpenAI (AI processing) — content you submit is processed on OpenAI's servers in the United States. This transfer is covered by OpenAI's standard contractual clauses.
Stripe (payment processing) — payment data is handled by Stripe under their own privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance.
Vercel (hosting and infrastructure) — our application is hosted on Vercel's global edge network.

6. Data Retention

Account data: retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion upon request.
Session history: your repurposing sessions are stored until you delete your account or request deletion.
Payment records: retained for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law (Belastingdienst requirements).

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

Right of access (inzagerecht): you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: you can request correction of inaccurate data.
Right to erasure (recht op vergetelheid): you can request deletion of your account and personal data.
Right to restriction: you can request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability: you can request your data in a machine-readable format.
Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

ReshareAI uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required for strictly necessary cookies under Dutch telecommunications law (Telecommunicatiewet).

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and role-based access controls on our database.
